2022 Tackle Registration Update

Attention Wildcat Families:

Registration for tackle football in the fall has been extremely successful and we have reached capacity at the Lightweight (9 and 10 year olds) and Junior Varsity (11 and 12 year olds) levels. Numbers do change, so we have opened up a waiting list for those two levels. Several openings remain at the Varsity (13, 14) and Super Lightweight (7,8) levels. So if your son is still interested in playing football this Fall, please send an email to Please include "Fall Football Registration" in the subject line and include your son's name, date of birth, and current weight along with your contact number and a Coach or Board Member will reach out to you to discuss options. The goal of the Wildcat organization is to allow as many boys interested in playing tackle football the opportunity to do so; however, the River Valley Youth Football League, in which we play, has limitaions on roster sizes. The Wildcats will do our best to accomodate all families.

Registration remains open for Flag Football. We are still looking for boys aged 5-7 interested in learning the game of football in a fun and safe environment. Flag football is free (there is a modest fundraising obligation), so register today.

Help Needed for Wildcat Families

Times have been tough for all of us lately, but this holiday season saw two of our Wildcat families suffer terrible losses. Jay Orlando, father of Tyler and Bella and husband to Brandi, passed away on December 19th; and Arci Merlos, father of Matthew, Anthony, Nicholas, and Stella and husband to Bonnie also passed away unexpectedly on December 30th. Our hearts go out to both families in this difficult time.

If you would like to help out either family, Meal Trains have been set up to offer some support in the way of meals to the families. Details for each Meal Train can be found below (please copy and paste the URL in your browser):

For the Orlando family:

For the Merlos family:

In addition, a Go Fund Me page has been set up for the Merlos'

We call ourselves the Wildcat Family for a reason. Please help out if you can and keep these families in your prayers.

With Compassion,

The Wildcat Board

Sir Grout

While we are sure everyone would like to be playing a regular season right now, our Cheer and Football Conditioning Camps have been a big hit!  Cheer is winding down but football will continue for several more weeks.  We want to thank Sir Grout for helping keep our kids safe by sanitizing all of our football equipment!  If you have any cleaning needs, check out their website Sir Grout or give them a call!
